OPERATIONAL AUTHORISATIONS

Drone inspections conducted within the aviation regulatory framework, indoors and outdoors.

Drone Visual Inspection (DVI) conducts automated inspection operations in accordance with the regulatory requirements and safety procedures applicable to aviation environments.

Our expertise enables us to support operators and maintenance organisations in preparing and carrying out drone inspections, including in airport environments subject to specific constraints.

AUTHORISED AND CONTROLLED OPERATIONS

DVI holds an operational authorisation issued by the French Civil Aviation Safety Directorate (DSAC) under the specific category of European drone regulations.

This authorisation governs the relevant operations according to the approved technical conditions, limitations and safety procedures.

Operational Authorisation – Specific Category

  • Competent authority: DSAC

  • Reference: FRA-OAT-2026DVI001-001

This authorisation does not provide blanket permission to fly at every airport. Each operation remains subject to the regulatory and operational conditions specific to the site concerned.

OPERATIONS TAILORED TO EACH AIRPORT

Every airport has its own constraints.

Outdoor drone inspections require specific preparation that takes account of airspace, aviation activity, authorised operating areas and airport management requirements.

DVI assesses the conditions at each site and coordinates the necessary arrangements with the relevant stakeholders.

Our aim is to enable automated inspection solutions to be deployed within a controlled operational framework compatible with airport activities.

THOROUGH OPERATIONAL PREPARATION

The safety of aircraft, people and facilities is our priority.

Each proposed operation undergoes a preliminary assessment covering, in particular:

  • Technical and operational feasibility.

  • Identification of aviation and regulatory constraints.

  • Definition of the drone's operating areas and conditions.

  • Coordination with airport management and relevant services.

  • Preparation of the required authorisation applications and safety procedures.

Operations commence only after the applicable prerequisites have been validated.

LOOKING TO CARRY OUT OUTDOOR DRONE INSPECTIONS AT YOUR AIRPORT?

DVI supports your feasibility assessment and the steps required to obtain flight authorisations.

Every airport has its own regulatory, operational and safety constraints. An authorisation obtained for one site does not automatically permit operations at another.

DVI assesses the operating conditions specific to your airport and, within the agreed assignment, prepares and follows up authorisation applications with the relevant authorities and site managers.

Our aim: to help you implement an automated inspection solution suited to your environment by coordinating the necessary regulatory procedures.

Flight feasibility and execution remain subject to the required authorisations and the constraints specific to each airport.

LET US ASSESS YOUR PROJECT TOGETHER

Considering automated drone inspections at your airport?

Tell us about your site, the aircraft involved and your operational needs.

DVI will assess the potential scope of intervention and the steps required to implement your project.
